Starting Point
Four bottlenecks, one connection point
At large commercial and industrial sites, four developments now meet the same grid connection capacity. Electrified fleets, growing production, on-site PV and rising grid charges. The connection becomes the bottleneck before the plant does.
01Grid connection at its limit
The upgrade is applied for, but not built. Depending on the network area, several years pass between application and commissioning. Until then the contracted capacity stays the ceiling for everything you want to connect.
02Load peaks and grid charges
A handful of quarter-hours per year determine the demand charge. A single peak carries the grid cost for months, regardless of how efficiently the site otherwise runs.
03PV self-consumption too low
The array produces at midday, the site consumes in the morning and evening. Without storage, the most valuable part of your own generation goes to the grid at the feed-in tariff.
04Charging infrastructure overloads the connection
Electric trucks and fleet vehicles charge at the same time. Charging power adds to the production load and pushes the peak further up.
PLUG & PLAY e-Container
Our newest All-in-One System
The e-Container X carries inverter and battery in the same 20 ft container and feeds at 690 V AC. Everything between cells and grid connection is factory-assembled and tested, so what arrives on site is one unit to place, connect and commission.

- Cycle count ≥ 10,000 on CATL original 530 Ah packs
- IP55 on the container, IP67 on the battery
- Modular build — smaller versions upon request
PLUG & PLAY e-Cabinet
On the 400 V connection, without an intermediate stage
The e-Cabinet 440 brings its own inverter and connects directly to 400 V AC (TN-S). No separate transformer, no medium-voltage project, no dedicated electrical room in the building. The electrical compartment sits inside the cabinet and is serviced from the front.
Site and load profile
We review connection capacity, load curve and footprint. The result is a design in kW and kWh, not a product recommendation.
Installation
Level, load-bearing surface per the foundation drawing, designed for a system weight of approx. 4,500 kg, flatness tolerance maximum 3 mm. Maintain service clearances in front of and behind the system.
Connection
Power, auxiliary and communication cables are routed separately. Earthing per drawing, earth resistance below 4 Ω. Standardised quick connectors, component replacement in one step.
Commissioning
Communication over Modbus TCP/IP, connection to the Swiss software, handover to operations. After Sales Hub in Switzerland.

Swiss Software
Swiss software, Swiss data storage
Control and monitoring come from Libattion. The storage system shaves your load peaks, shifts PV power into the evening and can be marketed for ancillary services. Direct connection to a pooler or asset manager, or integration through your existing EMS.

IN OPERATION
Three examples out of many
These are three specific projects we picked to show the range: a truck depot, a production site and a cabinet installation for ancillary services. They differ in size, topology and revenue case, and they are a small selection of over 40 delivered installations.

The charging power of the fleet stays within the existing connection. The storage system takes the peak when several vehicles charge at once, so the depot could electrify without waiting for a grid upgrade.

The storage system covers the production load peaks and holds the demand draw at the agreed level, alongside self-consumption from the site's own PV. This project is one the largest C&I BESS Projects within switzerland.

e-Racks in a cluster, marketed for ancillary services & peak shaving. Our client is using the BESS to optimize his grid as it is a small DSO. The same platform that shaves a load peak also earns on the balancing market.
FAQ
Frequent questions
Do we need our own transformer?
Not for the e-Cabinet 440. It connects directly to 400 V AC (TN-S) at 50 Hz, with the inverter integrated in the system. The e-Container X works at 690 VAC.
How much space do we need to plan for?
The e-Cabinet 440 measures 1400 × 1450 × 2150 mm at 4.1 T, plus service clearances in front of and behind the system. The e-Container X measures 6058 × 2438 × 2896 mm.
How loud is operation?
65 dB at one metre distance at nominal power. Acoustic options are available for the e-Container X.
Can the system be expanded later?
Yes. Up to 10 e-Cabinets run in a master-slave cluster, which corresponds to 1.32 MW / 2.64 MWh. Beyond that the e-Container X is used.
How long does the storage system last?
The cells are designed for a cycle count ≥ 10,000, at a round-trip efficiency of over 88 percent. LFP cells from CATL with 530 Ah are installed.
Where is the operating data held?
Control and data storage are Swiss software and Swiss data storage. Connection to a pooler, asset manager or external EMS runs over Modbus TCP/IP.
